Fast and Effective Tag Searching for Multi-Group RFID Systems

In RFID-assisted applications, the customers often request to provide tag searching service determine which specific tags are present in system. practice, usually divided into different groups represent categories or brands. We found that traditional protocols not very appropriate for multi-group RFID scenarios because they cannot ensure results of each group satisfy predefined reliability requirements. Therefore, we develop a series effective schemes. B-Search is basic method leverages filter vector and indicator perform sequentially. G-Search A-Search two parallel selects longest frame length as all groups, while can adaptively adjust improve efficiency. evaluate performance proposed through theoretical analysis discuss optimal parameter settings minimize execution time. Extensive simulations illustrate both achieve fast searching.
